Denise Burchard enjoys sailing and boating and sees it as a perfect way to share fun and adventure with friends and family. Since 1985, sailing has been a large part of Denise's life. With her husband, Willie Blevins, and their two children, Denise was awarded the Catalina 22 Racing Family of the Year in 1999.

     Denise's participation in Regattas as skipper or crew on an all female team has added to her collection of first place trophies. Whether cruising to the Bahamas, racing to win, or teaching women to "Start Powerboating Right," Denise's positive outlook and fun-loving nature make her an excellent instructor.
