-How long does "All day last?" If rented all day, how many hours of boat time would I get?
All day is considered from 9 am to 5 pm. We are open 7 days a week, from 9 am to 5 pm. If you'd like to get an early start we can be available by appointment to start a little earlier (after sunrise). When daylight savings time is active, we have extended rental hours (rental time after 5 pm) at the following rates: Runabout extended hourly rate = $45.00; Pontoon extended hourly rate = $60.00; Sailboat extended hourly rate = $45.00
-What should I bring with me other than my filled out rental application form and ID?
You are invited to bring anything else that would make your day on the water an enjoyable one. The boats are equipped with all necessary coast guard equipment including life jackets. We recommend items such as drinking water, snacks, sun block, extra clothing and accessories (T-shirt, cap or sun hat and sunglasses).
-I have driven boats. But do not have certification. Is any kind of proof of prior experience needed?
Proof of experience is not required. Reading and signing the rental agreement and terms of charter is required before rental. This agreement explains all responsibilities and liabilities. Please let us know if you have any questions on the rental agreement.
Are there any other charges other than the hourly/daily rate?
Yes, rental rates do not include fuel or late fees, and damage deposit may also apply:
- Fuel Charges: We offer three options for refueling.
- Late Fees: All Boats are due back no later than 5:00 P.M. Late Fees begin at 5:00 P.M. and accrue at $2 per minute.
- Damage Deposit: There is also a damage deposit required, which is a valid credit card or $500.00. If you use a credit card, we run it manually and then return the slip when you return the boat undamaged.
