Team up for your own private Treasure Hunt. Great fun and lots of friendly competition!

Sail the high seas of Lake Monroe as you and your mates face the challenges of the untamed St. Johns River to find a hidden treasure. Team up to decipher the treasure map clues or compete with other teams for heaps of loot.

After a lecture-style briefing of the day's events, a facilitator will present an overview of sailing theory, terminology and a breakdown of duties performed on a sailboat. A detailed explanation of the program will be discussed and support materials will be handed out.  Then the team will board their vessel for their on-the-water mini-sailing course where they will learn their position and put theory into practice.  Then it's off to find the treasure…

Each boat is given a "Treasure Map" with clues to the lost "treasures." The crews on each boat will have use their newly acquired skills and knowledge to navigate to the treasure locations, pick them up, and return to FUN Maritime Academy.  A fun awards ceremony follows the challenge.
