For Sailing Lessons:
Our sailing courses include 24 hours of instructions. Consisting of four, six hour days - either four week days or 2 consecutive weekends. There are also custom lessons available that are scheduled at your convenience.
We recommend you sign up at least 2 weeks to a month prior to your chosen class date to give yourself time to study the manual, “Sailing Fundamentals” by Gary Jobson. The Basic Keelboat course covers the first four chapters in the book, the Basic Coastal Cruising course covers the rest of the material.
To register, you can download the Student Registration form, Participation Agreement, and the Medical Information form or stop by the office a pick up a Student Registration packet. Complete the Student Registration packet and either stop by with your deposit and completed forms or fax the information to 407.330.0788.
Once you register (giving a deposit of 50% or more) you will receive your study material including a piece of rope to practice your knots. Go over the material prior to the first day course, once you are in class most of the time spent is on the sailboat completing hands-on exercises.
