After a lecture-style briefing of the day's events, a facilitator will present an overview of sailing theory, terminology and a breakdown of duties performed on a sailboat. A detailed explanation of the program will be discussed and support materials will be handed out. Then the team will board their vessel for their on-the-water mini-sailing course where they will learn their position and put theory into practice. Then the excitement takes on a whole new level…
The facilitator will lay out your Regatta's course while the skipper's meeting is being held. Participants will receive the race course handout with instructions then head out to the lake. The one-day program includes 3 races around the marks; the two-day program includes 5 races, challenging your groups' newly acquired skills. Then gather for an awards ceremony with fun trophies and prizes. (one or two-day programs available)
